2.2.3. Through 7500 km of a run or 6 months2.2.3.1. Engine oil and oil filter
Frequent replacement of engine oil and oil filter are the most important operations of maintenance which the motorist has to carry out. Over time engine oil becomes polluted and less dense that results in premature wear of the engine. Replacement Before this operation prepare all necessary tools and materials. Also prepare a large number of pure rags and newspapers to wipe the leaked oil. It is the best of all if engine oil is warm as in this case it flows down quicker and carries away with itself more carbonaceous deposits. During the work under the car be accurate and do not concern exhaust pipes or other hot mechanisms of the engine. When replacing oil it is recommended to wear gloves to prevent burns and to protect skin from irritants or other harmful substances which can contain in old engine oil.
