GENERAL INFORMATION

Sequence of tightening of bolts of a head of the block of cylinders

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect a wire of the minus plug of the accumulator.
2. Merge cooling liquid, unscrew spark plugs and take off an additional driving belt.
3. Take off a gas-distributing belt. Before taking off a belt, turn a bent shaft approximately on 60 °назад. Thereby the probability of contact of valves with pistons decreases.
4. Remove inlet and final collectors.
5. Uncover the camshaft.
6. Remove a camshaft asterisk.
7. Unscrew the bolts fixing a back cover of a gas-distributing belt to a camshaft casing.
8. Disconnect wires from the DIS module, the sensor of temperature of cooling liquid and the sensor of a bent shaft. Unscrew bolts, the fixing grounding wires to a forward part of a head of cylinders.
9. Disconnect hoses of cooling liquid from a head of cylinders. Disconnect wires from the sensor on the left side of a casing of the thermostat.
10. Check that all hoses and wires preventing removal of a head of cylinders were disconnected.
11. Unscrew head bolts in the sequence of the return sequence of tightening (see rice. Sequence of tightening of bolts of a head of the block of cylinders).
12. Remove a camshaft casing from a head of cylinders.
13. Remove a head of cylinders and laying of a head.

Preparation for installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Carefully clean the joined surfaces of a head and the block of cylinders. Clean water and oil channels in a head. Clean heads of pistons from a deposit.
2. Examine the joined surfaces on existence of deep scratches, dents and other damages. Small scratches can be smoothed out an emery paper, strong damages need to be processed on the machine.
3. Check whether the surface on which laying is established is deformed.
4. Clean carvings of bolts in a head of cylinders.
5. Prepare new bolts.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Establish laying of a head on adjusting pins (are specified by shooters).
2. Check that the tag on laying was turned up.
3. Establish a head.
4. Apply N15 03 170 sealant on the joined surfaces of a head and a casing of the camshaft.
5. Oil pushers.
6. Establish a camshaft casing.
7. Insert new bolts of a head of cylinders.
8. Tighten head bolts in the specified sequence (see rice. Sequence of tightening of bolts of a head of the block of cylinders) according to the data provided in subsection 3.1.1.
9. Establish the remained details.
10. Connect the accumulator, start the car and check operation of the engine.
